BlackBox Aerial LLC (“BlackBox Aerial”, “we”, “us”) is a Florida limited liability company providing drone-based aerial photography, video, construction monitoring, event coverage, exterior cleaning, and thermal imaging services in and around Miami and Orlando, Florida. Every flight is conducted by a pilot holding a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. By requesting a quote, booking a flight, or paying for a service through blackboxaerial.pro, you (“the client”) agree to these Terms, our Refund & Cancellation Policy, and our Privacy Policy.
The booking wizard on this site produces an estimate based on the service, package, address, and options you select. A quote becomes a binding booking only when (a) we confirm scope, date, and price in writing (by email from alain@blackboxaerial.pro), or (b) you complete payment through our checkout, after which we confirm the date in writing within one business day. Every booking carries a confirmation number in the form BBA-YYMMDD-HHMMSS-XXXX; please quote it in all correspondence.
Prices shown on the site are in U.S. dollars. Surcharges are computed by our server at checkout and disclosed before you pay: a rush surcharge (25%) for expedited scheduling, a travel surcharge ($3.00 per mile beyond 50 miles from our nearest base, unless the address lies within our Miami–Orlando corridor), and an FAA zero-ceiling airspace surcharge ($150) where the address falls within an FAA facility-map grid requiring individual authorization. If our address verification cannot confirm your location, we will provide a written quote instead of an online checkout.
All flights are conducted under 14 CFR Part 107. Where the flight location requires FAA airspace authorization (LAANC or a waiver), we will apply for it; we cannot fly until it is granted, and it is not guaranteed. The Remote Pilot in Command has final and sole authority to delay, relocate, shorten, or cancel any flight for weather, wind, visibility, airspace, wildlife, crowd density, equipment, or any safety concern. A flight cancelled by us for these reasons is rescheduled at no charge or refunded in full, as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. We do not fly over non-participating people, moving vehicles, or restricted areas, and we do not accept requests to do so.
If we arrive and cannot fly because access, permission, or a safe site was not provided, the visit is treated as a client cancellation on the day of service.
Deliverables (photographs, video, orthomosaics, thermal images, reports) are provided electronically, normally within 3–5 business days of the flight unless a rush was booked. Real-estate media may be delivered edited and colour-corrected; construction and thermal deliverables are delivered as captured plus the agreed report. We retain copies of raw and edited files for at least 12 months.
BlackBox Aerial owns the copyright in everything we capture. On full payment you receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use the deliverables for the purpose of the booking and for your own marketing, listings, records, and social media, including sublicensing to your agents and platforms (MLS, listing sites, contractors). You may not resell the files as stock imagery or claim authorship. We may use non-sensitive imagery in our own portfolio and social media unless you ask us in writing not to; we will always honour that request for private residences.
Online payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Bookings paid online are due in full at checkout. Quoted work (cleaning, thermal, custom scopes) is invoiced through Stripe and due on the terms stated on the invoice. Construction monitoring programs are billed per program period in advance. Amounts unpaid 15 days after the due date may be subject to a late charge of 1.5% per month and suspension of further deliverables.
We carry aviation liability insurance for our operations and will provide a certificate on request. To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost sales, delayed closings, or lost profits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from inaccurate information you provided or from your lack of authority to commission the flight.
Thermal and inspection deliverables are visual records captured at a point in time under specific conditions. They are not engineering, structural, electrical, or roofing certifications, and they do not replace inspection by a licensed professional. Decisions made on the basis of our imagery are your responsibility.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida; any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these Terms; the version in force is the one published at blackboxaerial.pro/terms.html on the date of your booking. Where the Spanish translation of these Terms differs from the English, the English version controls.
